Textile Surface Decorating is a hands on course. It provides opportunities for teachers to learn and explore the creative possibilities of different textile decorating materials and processes, develop an understanding of how these materials and processes have been used historically and in contemporary practice and how they may be applied in the classroom to invigorate learning in visual arts and design and technology courses.

Techniques in this workshop will include, sublimation of colour, marbling, dry point etching, working with angelina fibres, shibori, solarfast printing, gelli plate printing and stencilling with Marabu fashion sprays.
